Job summary
A tech solutions company is looking for a Data Engineer with strong backend skills to join their high-impact engineering team in Brazil. You will build and enhance backend features for large-scale user-facing products, collaborating with various teams to ensure comprehensive functionality. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of backend experience, solid Java skills, and a good grasp of Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark. Fluency in English is required.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Experience with Java backend skills.
- Hands-on Big Data experience preferred.

Salary : $ 2200 USD monthly (FTE)
We’re looking for a Data Engineer with backend experience to join a high-impact engineering team building large-scale user-facing products.
- Build and enhance backend features end to end : requirements, implementation, automated testing, A / B testing, and launch validation.
- Collaborate with product, design, and client teams to deliver complete functionality.
- Develop reliable, maintainable backend components used by other engineers.
- Work on large-scale, distributed, and data-intensive systems.
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Java backend skills (REST APIs, caching, storage, data processing).
- Hands-on Big Data experience : Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce (active migration from MR → Spark).
- Experience in consumer apps, social media, or large-scale platforms (not financial systems).
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (fluent required) and collaborate effectively across global teams.
