The Legal team members at Electrolux Group are more than legal advisors — they are strategic enablers of sustainable growth, innovation, and trust.

We are looking for an experienced Legal Director to lead our Latin America legal team with vision, agility, and business acumen.

This is a high-impact role that combines leadership, legal expertise, and strategic influence across a diverse, dynamic and fast-evolving region.

You will be responsible for leading a team of legal professionals, partnering with senior leadership, and ensuring that legal strategies are aligned with business priorities.

You will be reporting to the CEO of the business area as well as the General Counsel of the Group.

• Lead and develop the Latin America Legal Team, encouraging a culture of autonomy, collaboration, and continuous improvement;
• Be part of the Latin America business leadership team and act as strategic advisor to the CEO and the regional leadership team, providing proactive legal guidance on emerging risks, regulatory trends, and business opportunities;
• Serve as a member of the Global Legal Executive Team, and actively contribute to the evolution of the Group's legal function and legal practices across the Group;
• Oversee legal matters across corporate, commercial, regulatory, compliance, privacy, and litigation domains;
• Drive a culture of compliance and ethical business conduct throughout the organization in partnership with internal audit and global compliance teams, fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability at all levels;
• Collaborate with the Global IP Legal and Patent teams to protect and enhance Electrolux Group's brand and innovation assets;
• Collaborate closely with the global legal team and legal counterparts in other regions to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing, and alignment on cross-border matters;
• Support key business initiatives such as new plant launches, ESG programs, and digital transformation;
• Lead legal transformation initiatives, driving innovation through technology-enabled solutions, efficiency, and continuous improvement in legal operations and service delivery;
• Manage external counsel relationships and legal budgets with efficiency and transparency;
• Represent the company in relevant industry and regulatory forums;
• As part of the culture of continuous improvement, engage in Lean Thinking and continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

• A Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's Degree and / or MBA are a strong plus);
• Solid and relevant legal experience with a prominent law firm and / or an international corporation's legal department (preferably in the manufacturing industry);
• High integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset;
• Extensive experience in international corporate law, regulatory and compliance matters, and complex litigation, ideally within the manufacturing or consumer goods sector;
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate legal insights into strategic decisions;
• Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills with capacity to influence at the executive level;
• Proven leadership in managing diverse legal teams across geographies;
• Strong knowledge of Latin American legal systems and regulatory environments;
• Experience with regulatory agencies and product liability is a strong plus;
• Advanced English; and Spanish is a strong plus.

Located in Prado Velho, it is a new Electrolux Group location designed from the start to allow for more efficient, connected and flexible collaboration between Electrolux Group's support teams.
