Job summary
A financial systems company in Brazil is seeking an experienced JDE Functional Finance Lead to support and optimize JD Edwards Financial processes. The role requires strong expertise in GL, AP, and Tax, and involves leading implementations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Qualifications
- Strong functional experience with JD Edwards Financials.
- Proven expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Tax.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Experience leading or supporting JDE implementations or upgrades.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in multi-entity or multi-country financial environments.
- Prior experience as a functional lead or subject matter expert.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support JD Edwards (JDE) Financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Tax.
- Partner with Finance, Tax, Audit, and IT teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial processes.
- Translate business requirements into functional system solutions.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax rules, and internal controls.
- Lead testing (UAT), enhancements, and system improvements.
- Provide functional guidance, training, and ongoing support to finance users.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automate financial processes.
