Job summary
A global software provider is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer specializing in AWS Identity Management to contribute to the modernization of their enterprise platform. The successful candidate will design cloud-native components, collaborate with architects and DevOps, and ensure compliance with key IAM standards. Strong AWS skills, proficiency with PostgreSQL and Redis, and leadership experience are required. The role is full-time and based in São Paulo, Brazil, candidates are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS microservices, REST APIs and containerized environments.
- Proficiency with Aurora / PostgreSQL, Redis and EKS.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) including Auth0 and OAuth 2.1.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud‑native components using AWS technologies.
- Collaborate closely with architects and DevOps engineers for scalable solutions.

Our client is a global software provider in the financial audit and data management domain now executing a strategic modernization of its enterprise platform within an AWS-based environment.

- Microservices Architecture
- Design and implement cloud‑native components using AWS technologies.
- Collaborate closely with architects and DevOps engineers to ensure scalable, secure and high‑performing solutions.
- Take ownership of key IAM features and integrations ensuring compliance with OAuth 2.1, OIDC and Zero‑Trust standards.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, performance optimization and API design.
- Review code, mentor team members and uphold development best practices.
- Engage in Discovery and Implementation activities ensuring seamless transition and technical consistency.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS microservices, REST APIs and containerized environments.
- Proficiency with Aurora / PostgreSQL, Redis and EKS.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) – Auth0, OAuth 2.1 / OIDC, Zero‑Trust RBAC / ABAC.
- Solid understanding of software design principles and performance tuning.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- For Lead level: experience leading development teams and driving delivery within distributed environments.
- Knowledge of Angular / TypeScript.
- Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, etc.).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
