The Work You'll Do:

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead Tax Determination implementations in Brazil, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and delivery excellence. This role will oversee the full project lifecycle—from planning and stakeholder alignment to go-live—ensuring that the Taxrules platform is deployed effectively and in accordance with Brazilian tax legislation.

More specifically you will:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Tax Determination projects using the Taxrules platform, including planning, execution, and closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Solution Consultants, Regulatory, Product, and Integration specialists.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, timelines, and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian tax regulations (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, DIFAL) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead weekly status meetings, maintain project documentation, and deliver concise progress reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure resource availability and risk mitigation.

What We Need From You

• Proven experience managing tax technology or ERP-related projects in Brazil.
• Strong understanding of Brazilian tax legislation and its application in automated systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, PMP, etc.).
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Experience with REST API integrations and tax content configuration.
• Background in consulting or professional services delivery.
• Knowledge of e-invoicing frameworks (NF-e, NFS-e, CT-e, NFcom) and tax reform impacts.
