Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Designing and developing utility infrastructure projects.
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for projects.
- Understanding of key utilities operations and critical aspects (chilled water, waste water treatment, clean utilities, steam) to enable equipment selection and installation strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Performing regular inspections and maintenance of utility systems.
- Oversee the construction and commissioning of utility systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborating with other engineers, contractors, and government agencies.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues within utility systems.
- Preparing technical reports and documentation.
- Supervising and training junior engineers and technicians.
- Reviewing and approving construction plans and blueprints.
- Estimating project timelines and resource requirements.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing service complaints.
- Technical proficiency to provide guidance on equipment and process selection.
Additional Preferences
- Degree in Engineering or related field.
- EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with project management and budgeting.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with pharma sector projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in utility engineering, with a focus on system design and project management.
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations governing utility systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and experience in conducting rigorous analysis on utility systems.
