Availability to Travel/Expected Travel

Limited travel and if so, can be both domestic and international, on average about 25%, depending on the phase of the project

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing utility infrastructure projects.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for projects.
  • Understanding of key utilities operations and critical aspects (chilled water, waste water treatment, clean utilities, steam) to enable equipment selection and installation strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
  • Performing regular inspections and maintenance of utility systems.
  • Oversee the construction and commissioning of utility systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborating with other engineers, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues within utility systems.
  • Preparing technical reports and documentation.
  • Supervising and training junior engineers and technicians.
  • Reviewing and approving construction plans and blueprints.
  • Estimating project timelines and resource requirements.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing service complaints.
  • Technical proficiency to provide guidance on equipment and process selection.
Additional Preferences
  • Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with project management and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with pharma sector projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of utility systems and infrastructure.
