What you'll do :

• In this role, you will be responsible for leading projects related to Direct Material Efficiency (DME), working as the key person for purchasing, establishing a competitive supplier strategy and achieving productivity targets.
• Your mission is to reduce costs in the production or delivery of an existing product without compromising quality and performance.
• As we operate in a dynamic, international and competitive environment, with a panel of international suppliers in all regions, this is an exciting role with strong national and international exposure - working closely with project managers, cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure item readiness on time.

Also, during your journey, you could also be responsible for working as a category buyer, managing the component portfolio for SDA & Wellbeing.

You will work in a cross-functional team where the focus is on efficiency, optimizing existing designs, processes, or supply chains to lower production costs, often through material substitution, design simplification, process improvements or supplier negotiation.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS / C2W).

Who you are : You have :

• Bachelor's Degree, preference in Administration, Finance, Economy and Engineering, Post-graduation and MBA can be considered as a differentiator.
• Solid experience and knowledge of the purchasing dealing with important and strategic portfolios.
• Previous experience working with cross-functional teams and leading supplier resources.
• Technical skills on Cost Analysis; Commodity Analysis; Knowledge of Incoterms; Tax / Fiscal Legislation, Financial Mathematics, Financial Markets, Industrial Processes and Processes and Materials Planning and Control.
• Availability for local and international trips.
• Advanced English.
• Spanish is a plus.

You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba.
