Overview

Senior Technical Program Manager – Remote

Location : Brazil

The RDE Release Management team is hiring a Senior technical program manager who will help support the release trains and be responsible for managing releases for these products. RM Support includes release coordination, scheduling, managing timelines, app submissions, and the publishing of apps. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technical operations and workflows that give the organization a competitive edge and improve developer efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Release management and support for release trains, including release coordination, scheduling, managing timelines, app submissions, and publishing of apps.
• Oversee key functions within the product development environment to enable delivery of a high-quality service to end users and ensure releases meet business needs.
• Engage with executive stakeholders, establish and manage expectations, and drive engineering teams to a high standard.
• Coordinate dependencies and release planning with frontend iOS, Android, Web, Roku CTV SDK, and backend engineering and QA teams.
• Drive improvements in the Release Engineering pipeline, including automated tracking and reporting on release artifacts, JIRA items, sprint scope, bug reports, test reports, and release notes.
• Support an automated CICD and QA automation workflow for large-scale global product launches.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience supporting a full development life cycle for Android, Apple Web, or other platform ecosystems.
• Must have app submission experience in one of the major app store portals.
• Operational and release management experience in an agile framework within a media or technology company is preferred.
• Experience driving change in branching strategy, semantic versioning, sprint planning, dependency management, different test activities, and release tracking.
• Experience working with engineering teams to drive improvements in the Release Engineering pipeline for automated tracking and reporting on release artifacts, JIRA items, sprint scope, bug reports, test reports, release notes.
• Experience in large-scale global product launches through a scalable automated release pipeline workflow leveraging CICD workflows and QA automation workflows.
• Experience working with frontend iOS, Android, Web, Roku CTV SDK, and backend engineering and QA teams to coordinate dependencies and release planning.
• Experience in change management processes.
• Experience working with global teams comprising product engineering, QA, operations functional areas.
