UX/UI Designer - Abu Dhabi Govt Project (Emirati)
Job summary
A leading digital transformation partner in Abu Dhabi is seeking a UX/UI Designer to enhance digital government platforms. This role is a key position within a major public sector initiative dedicated to transforming user experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of UX/UI design experience, strong skills in interaction design and prototyping, and be comfortable working in agile teams. This position is exclusively open to Emirati candidates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience as a UX/UI Designer.
- Strong skills in interaction design, wireframing and prototyping.
- Experience working in agile product teams.
- Excellent understanding of UX principles and user research methods.
- Comfortable presenting design ideas to stakeholders.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Based in Abu Dhabi or open to relocating.
Responsibilities
- Plan and scope UX projects across multiple digital platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability testing and concept validation.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user journeys and personas.
- Work in collaboration with developers and stakeholders during agile sprints.
- Apply best practices in human-centred design and usability heuristics.
- Contribute to documentation and maintain consistency in design standards.
- Improve existing services based on research and feedback.
- Translate business needs into simple, elegant design solutions.
