- Load/unload items onto/from the truck using proper equipment and techniques.
- Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
- Inspect the vehicle before each trip to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the vehicle, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
- Operate GPS systems or other navigation equipment for route planning purposes.
- Must possess a valid truck driving license (Class A).
- At least 3 years of experience as a truck driver.
- Knowledge of regional routes and roads.
