Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talentedLand Surveyorto join our team! In this role you will get to perform land/field surveys and geodetic inspection on the sites.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review technical drawings and project documentation relevant to ongoing works.
• Conduct land and field surveys, perform geodetic calculations, and carry out structural inspections.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to define and verify project-specific survey requirements.
• Ensure survey tasks are completed on time and within allocated man-hours and budget constraints.
• Verify setting-out and elevation levels; inspect and safeguard the positioning of underground and surface utilities.
• Create supporting field sketches and maintain comprehensive survey records, including field books, sketches, and calculations.
• Provide quantity measurements of completed work when needed.
• Adhere to and promote on-site safety protocols.
• Support the development of 'as-built' drawings.
• Proactively engage in site health and safety initiatives as directed by the Resident Engineer and Safety Representative.
• Perform additional duties related to the role as required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Land Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on infrastructure and road/bridge projects.
• Proficient with CAD and survey software, total stations, data collectors, and GPS surveying equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with construction sequences and standard industry work procedures.
