Job Title: Land Surveyor
Location: Umm-al-Qaiwain, United Arab Emirates
Salary: 1100 AED per month

We are looking for a qualified Land Surveyor to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. Our ideal candidate has experience in land surveying and is ready to take on the responsibility of accurately mapping and measuring land parcels and areas for the purpose of development or assessment. We are open to considering immigrant applicants.

Job Duties:

  • Establishing control points used for surveys
  • Using instruments such as total stations, electronic distance meters (EDMs), global positioning systems (GPS) and levels
  • Collecting data from existing control points
  • Preparing survey sketches, maps, reports, charts, digital models and other documents from field survey data
  • Keeping records of surveys including measurements and calculations performed

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in land surveying
  • Knowledge of surveying laws, regulations and standards
  • Proficient with AutoCAD software or similar programs
  • Ability to read blueprints/maps/plans
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Strong communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
