A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to oversee maintenance and rehabilitation works of bridges and tunnels. The ideal candidate has 10 years of structural engineering experience, particularly within the UAE or GCC, and is well-versed in managing site operations. Key responsibilities include stakeholder coordination, QHSE compliance, and ensuring project execution meets safety standards. The role is full-time, requiring strong communication skills and proficiency in relevant engineering tools.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in structural engineering focused on bridges and tunnels.
- Proven experience in maintenance and rehabilitation works within the UAE or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of engineering codes and standards related to structural integrity.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer (Bridges & Tunnels) to oversee and manage the maintenance and rehabilitation works of bridges and tunnels. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering site management and stakeholder coordination to ensure project execution aligns with technical quality and safety standards.
- Oversee and manage site activities ensuring optimal utilization of resources manpower and equipment.
- Develop and implement planning strategies for maintenance and rehabilitation works of bridges and tunnels.
- Monitor project progress identify potential risks and take corrective measures to ensure timely completion.
- Study technical documents specifications and project requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare technical proposals method statements and engineering solutions for structural maintenance and rehabilitation.
- Ensure all engineering solutions align with project specifications regulatory requirements and client expectations.
- Act as the primary liaison with the Clients representatives ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
- Coordinate with subcontractors suppliers and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of site activities.
- Conduct regular progress meetings resolving technical issues and ensuring alignment with project goals.Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE) Compliance:
- Implement and enforce QHSE policies to ensure safe and compliant site operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of QHSE compliance at the site.
Qualifications :- Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Masters preferred).
- 10years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on bridges and tunnels.
- Proven experience in maintenance and rehabilitation works within the UAE or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of engineering codes and standards related to structural integrity and maintenance.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD STAAD Pro SAP2000 and other structural analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with clients and stakeholders.
- UAE Driving License is an advantage.
