Job summary
A leading company in the electrical equipment industry seeks an On Load Tap Changer (OLTC) Service Technician in Dubai. You will perform maintenance tasks, consult clients, and create technical reports. Candidates must have a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and fluency in English, with opportunities for travel across the Middle East.
Qualifications
- Skilled worker in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in maintenance of OLTCs required.
- Business fluent in English, additional languages a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on OLTCs both on-site and in-house.
- Preplan service jobs and verify necessary materials.
- Create technical reports and consult customers.

On Load Tap Changer (OLTC) Service Technician (m / f / d)
What challenges can you expect?
- You will perform repairs and maintenance work in regard to the designated product spectrum both on-site and in-house
- Thereby, you are responsible for the preplanning of service jobs to be carried out (verification of service material, obtaining scope of work and all information necessary to carry out the job)
- Creating technical service reports and forwarding them to the technical manager will be within your responsibility
- Likewise, you will consult customers and carry out training at the respective location
- You will assess and resolve problems in in regard to OLTC units and assembly groups depending on personal qualifications
What do we expect from you?
- You are a skilled worker in the field of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- You have experience within the maintenance of OLTCs
- You enjoy practical and challenging hands-on tasks in the electrical / mechanical field
- Ideally, you have basic knowledge about power transformers
- Furthermore, you are flexible and willing to travel across Middle East
- In addition, you have general knowledge about local energy grid design
- You are business fluent in English, additional foreign languages are a plus
