Job description

We re looking for a Multiskilled Electrical Technician to join our growing Facilities Maintenance team at Orbitworks state-of-the-art KEZAD site. This is a hands-on role supporting the operational continuity and safety of our satellite manufacturing facility.

You ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of building and electrical systems from distribution boards and UPS units to HVAC equipment and chillers. You ll work independently across electrical, mechanical, and MEP tasks to keep our facility running at peak performance.

About this role:

    • Maintain and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems: switchgear, wiring, panels, lighting, and UPS units.
    • Support HVAC systems, including motors, pumps, V-belt replacements, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and associated control panels.
    • Respond to power anomalies or outages and ensure safe, fast resolutions.
    • Work with FAS and BMS systems as part of facility-wide maintenance.
    • Conduct both preventative and corrective maintenance independently.
    • Be on-call for critical after-hours interventions, as needed.

Must Haves
    • Diploma or certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of hands-on experience in facilities or industrial maintenance.
    • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Electrical distribution systems
    • UPS, LV Generators, switchgear
    • HVAC systems (including temperature monitoring & V-belts)
    • Basic mechanical troubleshooting
    • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly.
Nice to Have:
    • Familiarity with cleanroom environments and how HVAC impacts performance.
    • Working knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) and Building Management Systems (BMS).
    • Experience in industrial manufacturing or critical environments.
    • Comfortable working across multiple trades (MEP-wide skills are a plus).
