Job Description

The Director of Talent & Culture holds a pivotal position in shaping and executing strategic HR initiatives. Charged with aligning HR strategies with business objectives, this position plays a crucial part in cultivating a positive workplace culture and formulating policies consistent with Accor values. The Director of Talent & Culture undertakes responsibilities related to legal compliance, diversity, equity, and inclusion, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

1. Strategic HR Leadership

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives and goals.
  2. Collaborate with executive leaders to ensure that HR initiatives align with the organization's objectives.
  3. Workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.

2. Employee Relations

  1. Manage employee relations, address concerns, conflicts, and promote a positive workplace culture.
  2. Collaborate with leaders to promptly and efficiently investigate, document, and implement corrective actions, aiming to achieve the shared objectives of the business and employees in accordance with company policy and UAE labor laws.
  3. Implement effective communication to foster a transparent and open dialogue between employees and management.

3. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I)

  1. Promote and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  2. Implement initiatives to enhance diversity and equity within the organization.

4. Policy Development and Compliance

  1. Enhance, cultivate, and execute HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and consistency across the organization.
  2. Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations, adapting policies accordingly.

5. Legal and Ethical Compliance

  1. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  2. Advocate for the processes, ensuring that leaders comprehend their role in the procedure and uphold fair treatment of employees.
  3. Mitigate legal risks by staying informed about changes in legislation and advising management accordingly.

6. Talent Management and Development

  1. Oversee talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent through INES.
  2. Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees.
  3. Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.

7. Compensation and Benefits

  1. Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  2. Monitor market trends and conduct regular benchmarking to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent.

8. Learning and Development

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive L&D strategies to address skill gaps and enhance employee capabilities.
  2. Collaborate with departments to ensure L&D initiatives align with organizational goals.
  3. Utilize innovative learning technologies and methodologies for effective training programs.

9. HR Technology and Analytics

  1. Oversee the implementation and utilization of HR technology systems for efficient HR processes.
  2. Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and provide insights into workforce trends.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives.
  2. Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a field related to business or human resources management, or equivalent experience.
  3. Demonstration of leadership and management skills.
  4. Excellent knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR Best Practices with the ability to support all areas of the business.
  5. Expertise in relevant HR technologies and HRMS.
