This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring seamless coordination between the kitchen and service staff.
- Greet and seat guests courteously and provide menus.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
- Serve dishes and beverages professionally according to restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of tables before and after each guest.
- Upsell menu items and suggest specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest queries and resolve complaints politely and promptly.
- Follow hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Support team members and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Process customer payments and handle billing efficiently.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waitress / food runner in a restaurant or hospitality environment (UAE or GCC experience preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (Arabic or other language skills are an advantage).
- Pleasant, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
- Excellent customer service and multitasking abilities.
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Young, healthy, and hygienic.
