Job summary
A leading audiovisual solutions company in Dubai seeks an experienced audiovisual technician to manage installations. The candidate will be responsible for performing complex installation tasks, mentoring technicians, and ensuring quality control of audiovisual projects. A minimum of 5 years in the field, alongside relevant educational qualifications, is preferred. The role will involve working at various job sites and requires strong communication and technical skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of audiovisual installation experience preferred.
- Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred.
- CDL preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation tasks for audiovisual projects.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics.
- Use hand and power tools for installation.
- Assist with basic mechanical fabrication.
- Test point to point functionality of systems.
- Mentor Level I and II Technicians.
- Provide site supervision.

Job Summary Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable installing connectors mounting projects and metal fabrication
- Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable installing connectors mounting projects and metal fabrication
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks
- Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring
- Projector and screen support structure installations
- Test point to point functionality of systems
- Field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) - upload and download capability
- Mentor Level I and Level II Technicians
- Load and test code for control and DSP systems
- Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer
- Provide site supervisor of install team with direction from the Project Manager
- Perform client training as needed
- Customer liaison in absence of Project Manager
- Responsible for job documentation as needed
- Demonstrate job site leadership
- Assume Foreman duties for active projects
- Travel to various job sites required
- Other duties assigned as needed
- Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
- Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control
- Ability to manage medium to large projects
- Minor programming capability (AMX/Crestron) - changes and troubleshooting
Minimum of 5 years of audiovisual installation experience preferred. Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred. CDL preferred. Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
