Job summary

A robotics solutions company in Dubai seeks an Event Support specialist to accompany robots at events, maintain equipment, conduct performance testing, and provide customer support. The ideal candidate should have a technology-related degree, hands-on IT hardware experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Zoho applications. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are critical. This position involves traveling for events and supporting content creation for promotional activities.

Job description

Event Support: Accompany robots during rentals
at events, ensuring optimal performance, providing on-site monitoring, and
safeguarding the equipment throughout the event. Should have the physical
strength to lift safely and carry robots during setup and transport.

Maintenance & Support: Maintain robots in
excellent working condition, conduct regular cleaning, assist with logistics,
and support delivery operations. Assist the Innovation Manager in conducting
repairs and promptly report any technical issues on-site to enable quick resolution
and ensure smooth functioning.

Performance Testing: Conduct robot testing and
hardware diagnostics to ensure optimal functionality. Document test procedures
and results, identify faults, and assist in troubleshooting. Provide basic
setup support and report complex issues to the Innovation Manager for further
resolution.

Customer Support: Respond promptly to customer
inquiries via phone, chat, email, or walk-ins. Provide accurate information,
deliver product demonstrations when required, and ensure timely handling of
sales inquiries by coordinating with the relevant team.

Event Participation: Actively contribute to
exhibitions, expos, and company-led initiatives by assisting with robot demos
and engaging visitors. Support content creation for social media by capturing
event highlights and showcasing robot interactions for promoting brand
visibility online.

Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in a technology‑related field (e.g., Robotics, IT, Electronics, or Engineering).
  • Hands‑on experience with IT hardware, basic diagnostics, and robot handling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Zoho applications, especially Zoho CRM and Zoho Finance.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to document testing, issues, and customer feedback accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction, demos, and support.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel for events, assist in lifting/carrying robots, and adapt to dynamic exhibition environments.
