The candidate will be responsible for performing complex installation tasks, mentoring technicians, and ensuring quality control of audiovisual projects. A minimum of 5 years in the field, alongside relevant educational qualifications, is preferred. The role will involve working at various job sites and requires strong communication and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of audiovisual installation experience preferred.
• Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks for audiovisual projects.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Use hand and power tools for installation.
• Assist with basic mechanical fabrication.
• Test point to point functionality of systems.
• Mentor Level I and II Technicians.
• Provide site supervision.

Overview

Job Summary Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable installing connectors mounting projects and metal fabrication

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable installing connectors mounting projects and metal fabrication
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
• Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks
• Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring
• Projector and screen support structure installations
• Test point to point functionality of systems
• Field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) - upload and download capability
• Mentor Level I and Level II Technicians
• Load and test code for control and DSP systems
• Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer
• Provide site supervisor of install team with direction from the Project Manager
• Perform client training as needed
• Customer liaison in absence of Project Manager
• Responsible for job documentation as needed
• Demonstrate job site leadership
• Assume Foreman duties for active projects
• Travel to various job sites required
• Other duties assigned as needed

• Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
• Basic computer knowledge
• Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control
• Ability to manage medium to large projects
• Minor programming capability (AMX/Crestron) - changes and troubleshooting

Education and/or Experience

Minimum of 5 years of audiovisual installation experience preferred. Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred. CDL preferred. Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
