Our Oilfield Services Team assembles and tests the latest products of oilfield equipment, which is the beating heart of our work. We collaborate with development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative drilling tools.

As a Field Electronic Technician, you will troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities include:

• Testing, evaluating performance, and repairing oilfield electronic and instrumentation equipment and test equipment.
• Reviewing procedures for assembly/disassembly and checkout of instrumentation. Configuring electronic sensors and devices.
• Troubleshooting data acquisition and control systems.
• Assisting with installation and configuration of instrumentation systems, sensors, and accessories.

Fuel your passion

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Technical Diploma or Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation.
• 1-2 years of experience in maintenance of electronic or instrumentation equipment (preferred).
• Ability to identify and communicate technical problems using logical troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of oscilloscopes, multimeters, meggers, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
