Job summary

A reputable financial services firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Accountant to handle financial transactions, prepare reports, and maintain records for property management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transactions and reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and coordination with real estate teams.

Responsibilities

  • Process receipts and journal vouchers accurately.
  • Prepare the company’s Profit and Loss Account report.
  • Record transactions for company’s properties.
  • Book expenses and accruals.
  • Transfer cheques to bank account monthly.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of cheques.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain records of lease agreements.
  • Process security deposit refunds.
  • Maintain accrual and prepayments.
  • Record property management fees.
  • Coordinate with real estate teams.
Job description
Accountant
  1. Process receipts and journal vouchers by accurately entering transaction details into the accounting system, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and properly filed.
  2. Prepare the company’s Profit and Loss Account report.
  3. Record transactions for company’s properties.
  4. Book expenses and accruals.
  5. Monthly transfer of cheques from "Checks Under Collection" to the bank account.
  6. Perform monthly reconciliation of cheques under collection with the bank PDC list.
  7. Conduct bank reconciliations.
  8. Maintain records of lease agreements and track accounts receivable for all properties.
  9. Process security deposit refund payments to tenants.
  10. Maintain the accrual and prepayments.
  11. Record company’s property management fees and other charges.
  12. Coordinate and communicate with the real estate teams.
