Our client is a globally renowned FMCG multinational with a robust presence across multiple product categories. Known for their strong brand legacy and innovation-driven approach, they are expanding their Personal Care Category in the MENA region and are looking to hire an experienced Assistant Manager - Production Personal Care to spearhead growth in this segment from their Ras Al khaimah, UAE office.

Job Summary

The role is responsible for overseeing production execution to maximize operational efficiency, carefully tracking downtime and yield, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring full compliance with system requirements throughout the manufacturing process. This position is dedicated to achieving production goals while promoting quality assurance and fostering ongoing process improvements within the FMCG or personal care/cosmetics industry.

Role And Responsibilities

Production Execution

• Collaborate with supervisor to ensure effective execution of production plans.
• Prepare batches accurately following the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Master Batch Formula (MBF).
• Monitor and control Critical Control Points (CCPs) to maintain product safety and quality.
• Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Maintain comprehensive production records and ensure compliance with in-process quality checks.
• Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Document deviations promptly and communicate with Production Supervisor or Quality Assurance for corrective measures.
• Track production output to meet or exceed established targets.
• Support the smooth launch and stabilization of new products on production lines.
  
  

Operational Efficiency

• Oversee and optimize the operational efficiency of all production lines.
• Accurately record and report machine performance data as required.
• Provide constructive feedback to line in-charges and machine operators, recommending improvements to enhance line performance.
• Prepare and distribute daily production reports to relevant stakeholders.
  
  

Downtime Analysis

• Generate and circulate daily machine breakdown analysis reports to concerned teams.
• Proactively follow up on recurring breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  
  

Yield and Waste Management

• Monitor and control wastage of critical packaging materials and bulk raw materials to optimize resource utilization.
  
  

Productivity Management

• Ensure all production personnel maintain high standards of personal hygiene and workplace discipline.
• Drive initiatives to increase machine efficiency and systematically record breakdowns.
• Continuously monitor and manage overall productivity levels.
  
  

Hygiene, Cleaning, and Sanitation

• Always maintain excellent housekeeping standards across all production areas.
• Ensure workplace cleanliness and hygiene are consistently upheld.
• Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines and standards.
  
  

System Monitoring and Compliance

• Monitor, enforce, and implement key quality and safety systems including:
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
• HALAL certification requirements
• ISO 22000 food safety management system
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Utilize basic knowledge of SAP Production module to support production activities (preferred).
• Lead Kaizen initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement cost reduction and process enhancement opportunities. Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE Working Days: (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM).Employees will have a weekly off on Sundays and on every alternate Saturday
  
  

Skills / Qualification

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to analyse production data and implement improvements
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and cost reduction
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, HALAL, ISO 22000, and TPM standards
• Basic SAP Production module knowledge preferred

Education: B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 12+years of experience inpersonal care manufacturing
