Position Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing manufacturing and production operations ensuring efficient processes meeting production targets managing resources and maintaining product quality. This role leads a team of production staff collaborates with other departments and implements strategies to optimize productivity and achieve operational excellence.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Diploma Operations Management or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar production leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop production plans, schedules and resource allocation strategies to meet customer demand and production targets.
  • Coordinate with the sales and operations planning team to ensure alignment between production and sales forecasts.
  • Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste and increase productivity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in production management.
  • Conduct safety training sessions and awareness programs to mitigate workplace hazards and prevent accidents.
Authority

To lead production teams, ensure quality control, manage inventory, enforce safety compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Special Responsibility and Authority for Ex Product and System
  • Maintaining detailed records of equipment certifications, testing results and compliance documentation. This documentation serves as evidence of conformity with IECEX and ATEX regulations and may be required for audits or inspections.
  • Have a thorough understanding of IECEX and ATEX standards including the classification of hazardous areas, equipment requirements and certification procedures.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in quality inspections, data analysis, and documentation.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field required. Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Instrumentation Professional) preferred.
