Job summary

A leading regional business in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Clerk for its Aftersales department. This role involves evaluating service orders and ensuring accurate invoicing. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree, with 2 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the automotive industry. The successful individual will be responsible for various administrative and accounting tasks, working closely with the Aftersales Manager.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of overall experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in the automotive industry preferred.
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate labour and parts line items in service orders.
  • Apply discounts in consultation with the Aftersales Manager.
  • Raise Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for sublets and bought-out items.
  • Compile incentive and overtime summaries for staff.
  • Ensure timely closing of orders with relevant approvals.
  • Provide administrative support to the Service Manager.
