Job summary

A healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a professional to manage procurement and supply chain operations for pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the UAE. Responsibilities include maintaining records of purchases, managing relationships with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience in a relevant role or relevant field of pharmacy experience in UAE will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain order and stock master records, ensure accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts.
  • Procure all required pharmaceutical items, follow up for deliveries, ensures no late deliveries with suppliers.
  • Conduct demand forecasting and demand planning.
  • Negotiate prices and contract terms with vendors to secure the best possible deals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure data integrity within ERP and EMR systems aligns with vendor agreements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with warehouse management to resolve inventory and delivery discrepancies.
  • Stay updated with changing regulations in the healthcare industry related to pharmaceuticals.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
  • Implement inventory control and management systems to prevent product expiry.

  • Collaborate with warehouse management to resolve inventory and delivery discrepancies.
  • Stay up to date with changing regulations and requirements in the healthcare industry, especially those related to pharmaceuticals.

  • Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
