LIN SCAN is searching for an Electronics Technician who will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks and projects related to his local subsidiary are executed according to the plan, corporate standards, and policies approved by the Corporate Office.
Key Responsibilities & Authorities
- Follow written and/or verbal instructions to assemble products according to schematics and/or design specifications using a variety of testing equipment, hand tools, and precision soldering techniques.
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair completed products and field returns as required.
- Assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype models according to design, engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components.
- Operate drills or other machine tools to fabricate parts such as coils or other related electronic components.
- Enter daily reports into ERP system.
- Perform tasks such as mold crabs, flaps, connectors, etc.
- Maintain work areas in a neat and tidy manner in line with HSE standards.
- Conduct pressure testing.
- Soldering and preparation of external and internal electronics.
- Wind coils and prepare tool accessories.
- Test software and hardware.
- Mold using MS1000 equipment.
- Pressure testing of external electronics and containers.
- Perform final checks on tools and calibrate them.
- Test incoming PCBs.
Skills/Experience
- College education in Electronics.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Basic knowledge and experience in electronic instrumentation and measurements.
- Attention to detail and quality focus.
- Good experience in soldering, calibration, and testing on electronic PCBs and equipment.
- Stress-resistant with good verbal communication skills in English (desirable).
- Creative, critical, and curious mindset.
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to walk and climb, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to communicate effectively.
- Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Must wear safety equipment as required for personal protection.
- Sufficient mobility and reflexes to perform duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
