Job summary
A leading service provider in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Cabling Technician responsible for the installation and termination of network cabling, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and will collaborate closely with network engineers to guarantee proper cable routing, labeling, and testing. This role involves maintaining documentation and troubleshooting cabling issues effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network cabling installation and termination.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in cabling.
Responsibilities
- Install and terminate various types of network cables (copper and fiber).
- Test and certify cable installations.
- Maintain accurate cable documentation.
- Troubleshoot cabling issues.
- Adhere to cable management standards.
- Work with network engineers to ensure proper cable routing and labeling.
Skills
Role Description: The Cabling Technician will be responsible for the physical installation and termination of network cabling ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. This role will work closely with the Network Engineers to ensure proper cable routing labeling and testing.
