Financial Accountant
Job summary
A financial services company in the UAE is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Financial Accountant. The ideal candidate should have 5–6 years of experience and strong command over end-to-end accounting processes. Key responsibilities include handling full-cycle accounting, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting audit processes. Candidates should possess strong analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills. Preference will be given to those with an own UAE visa.
Qualifications
- 5–6 years of relevant experience as a Financial Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements.

Salary Range: AED 6,000–7,000
Visa Preference: Own UAE visa preferred
We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Financial Accountant with 5–6 years of experience and strong command over end-to-end accounting processes. The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and be able to work independently while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
- Handle full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate journal entries, accruals, and provisions
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and intercompany accounting
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for management
- 5–6 years of relevant experience as a Financial Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Own UAE visa preferred
