A global logistics company in Dubai is seeking candidates to gain operational experience in maintenance and ensure equipment availability. The role includes learning diagnostic repairs and maintaining workshop tidiness. Ideal for those looking to develop hands-on skills in cooling systems within a dynamic work environment. Responsabilités
- Communicate extra operational activities to billing department.
- Serve as contact point for transporters and customers.
- Follow up on bookings and delivery of containers.
Gain experience in all aspects of workplace related practices and DP World safety standards.
Develop skills and build on knowledge to carry out planned maintenance on all items related to Reefer and general cooling systems.
To learn to provide maximum operational availability of equipment by conducting periodic diagnostic work and repairs.
To keep the Supervisor and other experienced technicians informed of progress & problems to ensure smooth flow of communication.
To maintain tidiness and cleanliness of workshop facilities/Work areas and all equipment thereby creating a safe and healthy work environment.
Gain knowledge and hands on experience on how to carry out fault diagnosis on the equipment and ascertain the cause of defects, repair methods and spare part requirements.
Get familiarized in the methods of being able to select the correct spare parts and obtain technical information from the manufacturers parts and technical manuals.
Be able to carry out the above duties with guidance and supervision of more experienced technicians and independently where applicable.
Start on a foundation to build on knowledge across DPW Engineering sections inclusive of plant & crane as well as mechanical and electrical works.
