Accountant job vacancy in Umm-al-Qaiwain UAE. Umm‑al‑Qaiwain is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Accountant to join its team. This position comes with a salary of 900 and we are open to considering an immigrant for the role. The ideal candidate should possess at least one year of relevant experience and be able to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent problem‑solving skills and strong communication abilities.

• Maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow projections, etc.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures in compliance with applicable regulations
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential risks or opportunities
• Monitor internal controls and ensure accuracy of accounting information
• Support budgeting processes by providing timely data analysis
• Investigate discrepancies, resolve errors, and recommend corrective action as needed
• Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred but not required
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance field; knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and accounting software systems (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
