Job summary
A staffing agency based in Dubai is looking for a professional to maintain and troubleshoot various workshop equipment, including Plasma Cutting and Robot Cutting machines. The role involves preventive maintenance, ensuring materials are up to standard, and reporting on work status. The ideal candidate should maintain a good relationship with team members and supervisors while adhering to daily operational processes. This position may require carrying out foreman duties as needed and attending departmental training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot various equipment including Plasma Cutting and Robot Cutting machines.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on machinery and report damages.
- Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained during production.
- Report status and errors to the team leader.
- Maintain relationships with workers and supervisors.
- Perform duties of a Foreman as needed.
- Attend training required by the department.
- Follow daily operations to ensure work continuity.
Maintain and troubleshoot various equipment i.e. Plasma Cutting and Robot Cutting machines; all kinds of DC Motor Drives and Controllers for various workshop machineries.
- Carry out Preventive Maintenance to above equipments (including Vibration analysis).
- Ensure materials are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages when required.
- Ensure that proper housekeeping is maintained throughout the production process.
- Report work status / progress, tools damage and process errors to the respective team leader.
- Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.
- Perform duties of a Foreman as required / appointed for individual projects.
- Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
