Job summary

A staffing agency based in Dubai is looking for a professional to maintain and troubleshoot various workshop equipment, including Plasma Cutting and Robot Cutting machines. Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot various equipment including Plasma Cutting and Robot Cutting machines.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on machinery and report damages.
• Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained during production.
• Report status and errors to the team leader.
• Maintain relationships with workers and supervisors.
• Perform duties of a Foreman as needed.
• Attend training required by the department.
• Follow daily operations to ensure work continuity.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot various equipment i.e. Plasma Cutting and Robot Cutting machines; all kinds of DC Motor Drives and Controllers for various workshop machineries.

• Carry out Preventive Maintenance to above equipments (including Vibration analysis).
• Ensure materials are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages when required.
• Ensure that proper housekeeping is maintained throughout the production process.
• Report work status / progress, tools damage and process errors to the respective team leader.
• Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.
• Perform duties of a Foreman as required / appointed for individual projects.
• Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
