Job summary

A leading food service provider in Dubai is seeking a Civil Maintenance Technician responsible for upkeep, repair, and maintenance of facilities across multiple restaurant outlets. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in civil engineering or a relevant trade and 2-4 years of experience in civil maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry. Key responsibilities include performing civil maintenance tasks, supervising contractors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining records. This role requires the ability to travel between locations and handle emergency repairs.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of civil maintenance experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, or restaurant chains.
• Ability to travel between multiple outlets.
• Basic knowledge of safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine civil maintenance including masonry, tiling, plastering, painting, and minor carpentry.
• Inspect restaurant premises regularly and address wear, damage, or safety issues.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors for repair and renovation work.
• Handle emergency civil repairs to minimize operational disruption.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company maintenance standards.
• Maintain maintenance records and report recurring issues to management.
