Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi seeks a qualified Mechanical Engineer to manage and supervise electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with contractors on upgrades, and ensure project safety and quality. Strong knowledge in Reduction Potlines and crane systems is essential. This role promises a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications
- Qualified education (degree/diploma) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in contract and project management.
- Can handle and manage the safety and quality of assigned projects at the site.

Job description

- Lead cross-functional teams of electricians contractors and subcontractors ensuring efficient coordination and high-quality workmanship.
- Collaborate closely with Contractors engineering and project teams to evaluate and implement upgrades modifications or replacements of electrical / automation equipment at site.
- Knowledge of Reduction Potlines and associated equipment
- Knowledge of Crane systems
- Can handle and manage the safety and quality of assigned projects at the site.
- Reviews and advise on fabrication shop drawings and material submittals by contractors.
- Conducting regular site inspections to verify electrical & mechanical installation quality and progress.
