The Kanoo Shipping is seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Assistant Commercial Manager to join our team in Dubai. This key role is instrumental in driving regional revenue growth, enhancing service delivery across customer categories including Traders & Charterers, Owners, and Operators, and expanding our service portfolio across the Middle East, India Subcontinent, and South Africa.

We are looking for a commercially minded individual with a passion for building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting our long-term regional growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and grow revenue streams from existing and new customers.

· Identify and develop new business opportunities and innovative service lines across the region.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to meet annual revenue targets.

· Act as the liaison between commercial requirements and operational teams across the region.

· Penetrate competitor client bases and secure new business opportunities.

· Negotiate and oversee contracts, pricing policies, and regional commercial rollouts.

· Analyse sales figures and opportunity pipelines to identify growth areas.

· Develop market intelligence and leverage technology to enhance service offerings.

· Stay updated on industry trends and monitor competitor activities.

· Collaborate closely with sales representatives in key shipping centers worldwide.

· Ensure adherence to pricing mechanisms and policies by regional hubs and port offices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Ø Minimum 2 years of experience in the wider shipping industry (ship operations/agency, commodity, shipbroking, or marine marketing environment preferred).

Ø Strong commercial acumen and excellent interpersonal skills.

Ø Willingness and ability to plan overseas customer visits.

Ø Superior knowledge of the Middle East, Subcontinent and Africa port and shipping industry.

Ø Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with high attention to detail.

Ø Effective planning, resource management, and leadership skills.

Ø Ability to supervise and mentor junior operators.

Ø Creative, proactive, quick-thinking, and business development oriented.

Ø Team player with a strong work ethic.

Ø Applicants must currently reside in the UAE.

Ø A valid UAE driving license is required.
