About the Role:

The Sales Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to provide insights that support strategic decision‑making. The role involves tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying sales trends, and helping improve overall sales performance and forecasting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of all sales data and reports.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly sales performance dashboards to management.
  • Support the development of sales forecasts, budgets, and target‑setting processes.
  • Partner with the sales team to evaluate promotions, pricing strategies, and channel performance.
  • Provide ad hoc analyses and insights to support decision‑making at all organizational levels.
  • Maintain strong alignment with Finance and Marketing to ensure consistency in data and reporting.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze sales data from multiple sources (CRM, ERP, market data, etc.).
  • Track and report on key sales KPIs such as volume, revenue, margins, and profitability by product, channel, and region.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in sales performance to support corrective actions.
  • Prepare management presentations and sales performance reports.
Required skills & Qualifications:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills – Proficient in pivot tables, Power Query, macros, complex formulas, and data modeling.
  • Power BI / Data Visualization Tools – Experienced in designing, maintaining, and automating interactive dashboards.
  • CRM and ERP Systems – Working knowledge of platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or comparable systems.
  • Data Management & Accuracy – Strong understanding of data integrity, cleansing, and validation best practices.
  • Analytical & Statistical Tools – Familiarity with data analysis and statistical tools is an advantage.
  • Presentation & Reporting – Ability to effectively communicate insights using PowerPoint and data storytelling techniques.
  • Experience – 2–4 years of relevant experience in sales analysis, business analytics, or commercial planning.
  • Core Skills – Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and high attention to detail.
  • Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration – Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
