A leading news organization in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a qualified Laboratory Technician to manage laboratory operations, conduct sampling, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications
- Complete initial BNPP specific qualification requirements for fully qualified Laboratory Technician.
- Ability to implement laboratory management systems and quality assurance protocols.
- Experience in daily laboratory operations and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for sampling and daily laboratory checks.
- Provide field collection technician duties as needed.
- Train to become a fully qualified lab specialist.
- Support QA and FANR audits by providing required documents.
- Report problems and support corrective actions.
Skills
Education
Responsible for sampling as well as daily laboratory checks, sample preparations, supplies and keeping the laboratory functioning at a high level. Provides field collection technician duties as needed and trains to become a fully qualified lab specialist.
- Implement all programs and procedures.
- Provide input into and operate the LMS.
- Complete initial BNPP specific qualification requirements for fully qualified Laboratory Technician.
- Perform all daily laboratory activities required to support the lab team.
- Support all QA and FANR audits by providing the required documents.
- Report problems and support corrective action of all issues discovered.
- Implement their responsibilities in the LMS.
- Conduct the field sample collection.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety for yourself and other co-workers, legislative compliance, high quality service and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Follow laboratory specific quality assurance protocols to meet laboratory certification(s).
- Adhere to established Quality Assurance Manual requirements.
- Participate in the formal corrective action program.
