Job summary
A leading construction company in Dubai is urgently hiring a Personal Butler for the Chairman. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the industry, exceptional attention to detail, and discretion. Responsibilities include managing the household, ensuring the Chairman's satisfaction, making travel arrangements, and financial management. The role requires excellent communication skills and readiness for international travel. Salary is open and commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in the industry as a Butler.
- Fluent in English.
- Completed vocational training and seminars.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the Chairman is kept satisfied at all times.
- Overseeing daily operations of the household.
- Ready for international travel.
- Tracking household supplies and replenishing them.
- Managing schedules and travel arrangements.
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs.
- Handling household budgets and expenses.
- Ensuring household security and safety.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Noting unattended valuables.
- Demonstrating discretion in private spaces.
Skills
Education
Preferred local candidates available for face‑to‑face interview with immediate effect of immediate joining.
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and address even the smallest details.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Discretion and Confidentiality: Maintains privacy and confidentiality of the employer and household.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication. Fluent English is a must.
- Professional Appearance: Maintains a polished and professional presence.
- Problem‑Solving Skills: Ability to quickly and effectively address issues as they arise.
- Multitasking Ability: Manages various tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Knowledge of Fine Dining and Etiquette: Understanding of proper table settings, service and etiquette.
- Culinary Skills: Basic cooking skills, understanding dietary requirements and menu planning.
- Ensuring the Chairman is kept satisfied at all times.
- Household Management: Overseeing the daily operations of the household ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Ready for International Travel.
- Inventory and Supplies Management: Tracking household supplies and replenishing them as needed.
- Personal Assistance: Providing personal support to the employer including managing schedules, travel arrangements, arranging medication on a timely basis.
- Travel Arrangements: Keep ready all clothing and accessories for travel whenever required.
- Maintenance and Repairs Coordination: Arranging for household maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Financial Management: Handling household budgets, expenses and record‑keeping.
- Security and Safety: Ensuring the household is secure and implementing safety measures.
- Household Cleaning and Upkeep: Overseeing or directly engaging in the cleaning and maintenance of the household ensuring high standards of cleanliness and order.
- Ensure all unattended valuables and belongings inside rooms are noted and the Manager is informed about the same.
- Demonstrate discretion and courtesy when entering into private spaces.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the industry as a Butler.
- Foreign Language: English is required.
- Courses and Training: Vocational training and seminars.
