Job Description
Job Scope
The Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for advising and coordinating with the sales team on all technical issues related to presales implementations and solution design. They are technical experts who build strong relationships with partners and customers, driving business through multiple technical initiatives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Build detailed designs, solution architectures, and proposals for new systems.
- Review and document existing processes.
- Evaluate software products according to procedures, ensuring user needs are met.
- Understand project goals, define design criteria, and devise optimal solutions for clients.
- Ensure solutions align with best practices and client requirements in the statement of work.
- Manage the sales bid process by responding to RFI and RFP.
- Create bid packages and technical proposals for hardware and services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure successful sales closures.
- Review vendor recommendations against RFQs, select the best vendors, and incorporate necessary changes.
- Schedule and allocate service resources for solution implementation.
- Coordinate engineering plans, define project schedules, and integrate systems cohesively.
- Provide feedback from clients to the sales team regarding product requirements.
- Stay updated on market trends, products, and competitors.
Position Requirements
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Experience
- 8-10 years in pre-sales or consulting with a Microsoft partner.
- Expertise in Azure IaaS, networking, identity, AVS, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Backup & Security, and landing zone frameworks.
- Experience designing Microsoft 365 security and productivity solutions.
- Proven track record in proposal writing, RFP responses, and technical documentation for UAE clients.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Partner Center for co-sell offers and lead management.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft cloud licensing, funding programs, and commercial practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
