Job summary
A contracting company in Dubai is seeking an experienced ELV Technician to install and maintain Extra Low Voltage systems across various properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with systems like CCTV and fire alarms, coupled with a diploma in Electrical or Electronics. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret technical documents are essential for this role. Familiarity with local regulations and a valid UAE driving license are preferred.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an ELV Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Familiarity with tools and testing equipment used in ELV installations.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV and fire alarms.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in ELV systems efficiently.
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers.
- Ensure installations comply with local regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
- Participate in site surveys and assist in system design.
