OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:

• Handling the smooth operation of all the HVAC systems in the building to ensure superior guest service and product quality.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs to visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the HVAC systems and equipment.
• Provide hands-on support of work assignments to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner and within specifications.
• Effectively organize, train, and assign tasks to and follow up with technicians to ensure maximum productivity.
• Execute all preventive maintenance duties as outlined in the Preventative Maintenance Program and follow and enforce procedures that ensure the security of inventory such as tools, supplies, equipment, etc.
• Replenish HVAC supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner and minimize waste; and make sure equipment is prepared and operational for the following day's work.
• Adhere to all company-required purchasing policies and controls to stay within budget guidelines as assigned.
• Follow prescribed safety procedures and emergency plans for personnel and equipment by the company and according to local laws and regulations.
• Participate in effective energy management programs and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel.
• In the absence of HVAC Supervisor, conduct a daily briefing with HVAC section team members on current key activities.
• Anticipate and respond to guest issues and establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfaction.
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors/contractors as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment & perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Establish and maintain open collaborative relationships with Team associates.
• Carry out senior Engineering Leadership instructions or other designated person of authority.
