Key Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of business plans, ensuring alignment with other business units.
Operational Responsibilities
Governance
- Participate in developing and implementing work policies and procedures.
Operations
- Develop and maintain the organisation's identity and brand, ensuring consistency with strategic goals.
- Create internal and external marketing and PR plans, activating them in line with the institutional identity.
- Organise media events, manage media relations, and handle crises per organisational policies.
- Manage media sponsorships and advertising efforts to achieve marketing objectives.
- Oversee social media accounts and website content, ensuring standards are met.
- Monitor and analyse media coverage and publicity efforts.
- Supervise research and projects on customer satisfaction and opinion.
- Prepare and edit press releases, newsletters, reports, and other publications.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Project Management
- Implement projects and initiatives according to approved criteria, timelines, and budgets.
Supervision
- Monitor staff performance, provide support, and promote ongoing development.
- Guide and train staff, facilitate knowledge sharing, and prepare staff for media interactions.
- Identify and develop keynote speakers for events and media presence.
Risk Management
- Coordinate risk management efforts and implement corrective actions to enhance performance.
