SAP B1 Functional Consultant

A trusted ERP solutions provider in the UAE is looking for an experienced SAP B1 Functional Consultant. The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP B1 implementations and strong expertise in modules like Finance and Inventory. Responsibilities include implementing solutions, conducting business analysis, and training users. This role offers remote working options with frequent international business trips.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an SAP Business One Functional Consultant.
- Hands-on experience with SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and SAP HANA.
- Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills.

Remote (required to do international business trips quite often)
We are looking for an experienced SAP B1 Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of expertise in SAP B1 in end-to-end implementation and has delivered 5+ full-cycle implementations independently.
- Implementation & Configuration
· End-to-end SAP Business One implementations, including business requirement gathering, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
· Configure and customize SAP B1 modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, CRM based on business needs.
· Develop and maintain workflow solutions and approval procedures within SAP B1. - Business Process Analysis & Optimization
· Conduct business process analysis and recommend best practices for improving efficiency using SAP B1
· Assist in re-engineering business processes and improving workflows.
· Identify automation opportunities and minimize manual interventions. - Technical & Functional Support
· Provide post-implementation support and resolve end-user issues related to SAP B1.
· Work closely with IT teams for system enhancements, integration with third-party tools, and add-on
development.
· Manage system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning. - Reporting & Data Management
· Develop custom reports using SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and SAP HANA.
· Ensure accurate data migration, validation, and reconciliation during implementation phases.
· Maintain data integrity and security within SAP B1. - Training & Documentation
· Conduct user training sessions and create documentation on SAP B1 functionalities.
· Prepare SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and best practices guides.
· Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of SAP B1. - Stakeholder & Vendor Management
· Collaborate with business teams, vendors, and IT departments to align SAP B1 with business goals.
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations.
· 3+ years of experience as an SAP Business One Functional Consultant.
· Expertise in SAP B1 core modules (Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Production, MRP etc.).
· Hands-on experience with SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and SAP HANA. Knowledge of B1 Usability Package (B1UP), or other third-party tools is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· SAP Business One certification is an added advantage
