Job summary
A leading food distribution company in Ajman is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage financial operations and prepare accurate reports. Responsibilities include overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with UAE legislation. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and has 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE. Proficiency in accounting software like Tally or QuickBooks is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, UAE experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
