A leading technology firm in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled professional to manage fiber optic projects. The role requires expertise in cabling techniques, hands-on experience with various testing equipment, and the ability to coordinate project activities efficiently. Responsibilities include project execution from survey to completion and ensuring quality of service during implementation.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with various fiber optic test equipment.
- Experience with ISP/OSP infrastructure in GPON/FTTx.
- Familiarity with project execution and documentation.

- Manage projects including survey, implementation, and migration.
- Inspect and coordinate field resources to ensure quality of service.
Connaissances
Outils
- Responsible of active projects via (BM, CM, DC, GSM, Shelter, POP) such as Mobile-IIB / CSG, Core & Fixed Access Networks (Agg, Pre-Agg, Switches, OLT Cards, ATP etc.) survey, implementation & migration
- Details knowledge of different types in fiber optic cables, with cabling & jointing techniques for ISP / OSP infrastructure in GPON / FTTx network environment
- Hands-on experience of fiber optic test equipment Fiber Identifier (FI), Visual Fault Locator (VFL), Optical Light Source (OLS), Optical Power Meter (OPM) & OTDR etc.
- Must have experience in P2P project having hands on experience in Switch and Router configuration
- Must be familiar of Du SFAN Project Activities such as Active Equipment (AE), Splitter Installation & ATP, Mobile-IIB & CSG etc.
- Must have experience of the Du Project Activities as Switch comissing and knowledge about Puty, Secure CRT and other console software
- To liaise with Coordinator / Team Leads for project execution in accordance with SOW & client SOP / guidelines in order to achieve project objectives & goals
- Responsible for assigned activity schedule, end-to-end execution / implementation from access permission, survey till completion, site photos for documentation & record keeping
- Ability to read & interpret SLD, DD, and network diagrams & update necessary changes with the concerned department
- Inspection of field resources (XAD & Vendor Teams) updates to ensure QoS as per standard guidelines prior to each project deliver
