Field Service Technician - Supercharging, Dubai
Job summary
A leading technology company is seeking a Field Service Technician in Dubai to maintain and troubleshoot its Supercharging network. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, a passion for renewable energy, and excellent communication skills. The role requires traveling within UAE and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field.
- Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems.
- Fluency in English and valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical activities related to installation and maintenance of Supercharging network.
- Troubleshoot and analyze issues remotely and on-site.
- Prepare and plan technical activities independently.

What to Expect: As a Field Service Technician in our Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure our Superchargers are operating at their best. Our Supercharging network is the largest global, fast charging network in the world and enables our customers to travel long distances comfortably. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within UAE. - Perform all on-site technical activities related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Supercharging network in Dubai and abroad
- Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
- Act as the first point of contact to contractors
- Analyze recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
- Prepare, organize, and plan your own technical activities
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field, experience in a field-based role is a plus
- Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
- A passion for renewable energy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
- Flexible towards travelling
- Fluency in English
- Valid driver’s license
- UAE Work authorization
