Job Title: Junior Accountant
We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Accountant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for helping with day-to-day financial activities, including data entry, reconciliations, and file maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or finance and strong communication skills. This is a great entry-level position for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in the accounting field. No prior experience is required, but proficiency in Microsoft Excel and attention to detail are a must. This position does not include accommodation and is open to all nationalities with valid UAE visa status.
Salary: $1200 per month
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with data entry and processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Conducting bank reconciliations and preparing journal entries
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Assisting with month-end close procedures
- Performing ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
- Communicating with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial information
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
