TRADE MARKETING Executive

ORGANIZATION

  • Reports to: Marketing Manager Nars
  • Job Location: Dubai UAE
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Note: Proficient communication in English with Arabic being highly desirable.

JOB PURPOSE

The trade marketing manager is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, consumer engagement, and conversion across retail channels. This role focuses on translating Nars global brand vision into impactful local activations, ensuring that brand presence in retail environments aligns with business goals.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a regional trade marketing plan for the Middle East that aligns with NARS brand strategy, enhancing brand presence, consumer engagement, and sales conversion across various retail channels, making ROI-driven decisions and recommendations.
  • Own Free standing store activation strategy focused on driving differentiation, footfall, and sellout.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of activations, providing insights and recommendations for optimization to maximize brand impact.

Retailer activations:

  • Plan and execute podiums, in-store events, and promotions across key retailers in the Middle East to elevate brand visibility and drive retail sales.
  • Manage Global design brief and approval process while focusing on timely and seamless execution.
  • Act as brand guardian to ensure all animations and materials are in line with global brand standards.

Boutique activations:

  • Develop and execute activation calendar within the region (Events, masterclasses, CRM takeovers).
  • Align with Retail Partner to ensure high-quality consumer experiences and seamless execution.
  • In charge of sample and GWP forecasts for all boutique activations (always-on & events).
  • Manage local production of collaterals in line with Global guidelines.

Strategic partnerships:

  • Explore and execute local partnership opportunities with relevant brands/industries to fuel brand excitement and desirability.

Reporting:

  • Report & analyze activation performance monthly.
  • Leverage insights to improve and refine future trade activities.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Product Artistry, VM, as well as distributor and retail partner teams to align on brand strategy and promotional activities across the Middle East.

A&P Budget Management:

  • Trade marketing Budget Ownership.
  • Track and report on budget allocation for each activity to ensure return on investment and identify opportunities for improvement.

PROFILE:

  • Min 5 years of relevant experience within the beauty industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Middle East market, consumers, and trends.
  • Successful track record of creating and executing trade marketing plans.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong ownership and can-do attitude.
  • Experience in adapting to challenges, fostering a culture of excellence, and guiding communications with main stakeholders: EMEA regional office, Global brand holder, and retailers.
  • Dynamic, positive thinking, analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Proficient communication in English with Arabic being highly desirable.
