Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Lead Field Process Engineer for an onshore oil and gas project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have over 15 years of experience in process engineering, particularly in ADNOC projects. Responsibilities include overseeing field engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 8 years in field engineering roles for onshore projects.
• Proven experience in ADNOC projects is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all field process engineering activities at site.
• Serve as the technical focal point between design office and construction teams.
• Review and interpret PFDs P&IDs and process design documents.
• Provide technical guidance for process-related issues.
• Coordinate design queries technical deviations and field change requests.
• Ensure implementation of ADNOC standards and HSE requirements.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project progress.
• Participate in commissioning activities including punch list review.
• Support QA/QC teams in reviewing as-built documentation.
• Prepare and submit field engineering reports and progress updates.
