The role involves wiring and testing automation panels, requiring 2-3 years' experience in an electrical assembly environment. Qualifications

- Experience with field wiring, fault finding, and pneumatics.
Responsibilities

Experience
- 2 - 3 years' post qualification experience within an Automation electrical assembly environment
- Comprehensive experience with field wiring of automation facilities, fault finding, panel building and pneumatics
- Comprehensive experience with electrical assembly hand tools, trunking assembly, trunking layout, labelling.
Job Objectives
- Using electrical designs to wire and test panels and facility to functional completion
- Support electrical assembly requirements to completion.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities
- Understand and comprehend facility purpose and objectives
- Comprehensively read, understand and transform electrical designs into assembled functional panels, exercising and applying electrical knowledge and wiring practises to accommodate, optimum wire requirements, routing, digital and analog signals, noise, communication cables, AC/DC power, earthing, etc
- Correctly identifying components for the purpose of the assembly application
- Work together with Mechanical and Control System Engineers to achieve facilities functional requirements
- Liaise confidently and constructively with specialist consultants e.g. Design Consultants/Suppliers
- Provide detailed design change/correction feedback during and on completion of testing facility
- Install facilities on site if and when required
- Acknowledge and accommodate the requirements to have to work additional hours to achieve project milestones
- To operate within the safety regulations of the company/OSH ac
- To comply with ISO procedures
- Good housekeeping.
